Bill Burke (the Hy-Vee race director) and his crew are currently building T1 at the Raccoon River Park Lake for everyone for this weekend and he says he is 90% sure we are swimming this weekend in West Des Moines. They are continuously monitoring bacteria levels throughout the week and the bacteria counts and the water levels have dropped substantially, the weather report looks good, and he and his crew are planning on a swim.
