Please Tell Me This Is A Joke!

"The HyVee Des Moines World Cup event will go on in Des Moines, Iowa on June 22nd as scheduled. However, all of the races (youth, youth elite, junior elite, age-group, and elite world cup) will be moved to Valley Southwoods Freshman High School in West Des Moines and become duathlons due to the severe flooding in Iowa. There is still a very small chance that the water will recede and be clean enough for a triathlon for the Elite World Cup event ONLY. That decision about the World Cup will be made on race weekend as the water quality is measured. Official notice will come from race management and the ITU shortly, but as of now we are planning for duathlons and hoping for a triathlon for the elites. Prize money will be awarded as planned regardless of a duathlon or a triathlon.
USAT is working with the USOC to amend the Olympic Selection Criteria in the case that the triathlon is not held. We look forward to seeing all of you in Des Moines!"
