Raccoon River Park

Thought I would do a little research on the new race site. Here are some photos I found online of the park/water. Of course, we must assume that the water isn't going to look quite as nice, but hopefully it will be swim-able!

Stole this photo from the Frost Family's blog...apparently taken about a year ago.
I won't be there at sunset, but it gives the whole place a tranquil feeling.
The official Parks and Rec. entrance sign...I can't wait to see it in person (on Friday)!
